I bring 15 years of experience in public and private sector governance, administration, and business improvement, alongside more than a decade actively involved in community level clubs and organisations.
I’ve been part of volunteer led committees, trained teams, and headed up leadership groups. I’ve seen firsthand what happens when a small number of people carry too much, when systems aren’t clear or are out of date, and when communities are forced to operate reactively just to get through the year.
That’s why my work is grounded in real experience, not just theory.
I’ve supported my own amature sports club through governance reviews, strategic planning processes, and organisational improvements, helping them move from “just getting by” to operating in a more structured, sustainable way.
Backed by a PhD in social sciences and extensive experience conducting interviews and community consultation, I specialise in listening to the people on the ground, identifying what really matters, and translating complex challenges into practical, achievable solutions.
